新東京 is launching the fashion brand “L’essentiel est(レソンシエレ)”.
L’essentiel est(レソンシエレ) is a phrase quoted from “The Little Prince”:
"On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
(One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye.)
Just as our encounter with music was, we want to step into new fields other than music, guided by our own curiosity.
And we also want to enjoy what is born by chance by pushing forward without knowing anything.
We hope that it is always our own mind's eye that leads us to our next destination.
No matter what new frontiers we step into, we want to believe in the invisible and continue to purely ask ourselves, “What is truly important to us?”
We have put such thoughts into the name L’essentiel est(レソンシエレ).
